Sedation Dentistry

You may be a patient who has experienced some anxiety when visiting the dentist. The offices at Advanced Dental Center are designed with comfort and relaxation in mind – from the colors on the wall to the DVDs and satellite television available to you during your procedure. If you experience a more extreme level of anxiety, you may benefit from oral sedation. Dr. Hopkins and her team will arrange for a licensed, medical anesthesiologist to come to the office to perform your sedation and monitor your vital signs throughout the entire procedure. It is important that you have a relative or friend available to take you to and from Advanced Dental Center, since you will be unable to drive yourself. You will not be fully asleep during your procedure, however, you will be very comfortable and will have little memory of the procedure itself.
